WHY?

Why does December have to be so darn stressful?! So much to do in so little time. Takes forever for me to feel the Christmas spirit. We start putting up our pictures of Jesus on December 1st and that helps alot! Here is the summary of our craziness!
On Dec. 1st I got to go with Norris and Brenna (Brenna's brother got married) to the temple to watch my sweet nephew Tate. I was his nanny for a day. :) I loved every minute of it.
Dec. 2nd Baby Tate was blessed...I made rolls and they were little pillows of happiness :)

Dec. 3rd Sierra got her Mara Appliance in her mouth and she looked SO different from the start. She was so brave!
Dec. 4th I had my Lab Practical
Dec. 5th Ashton's Christmas Pack Meeting...made cookies and we sang songs and did skits at the retirement center

Dec. 7th Ward Christmas Party...made rolls again. Ashton dressed himself and looked so CUTE! Sierra was at Karlie's birthday party, went to the Glendale Centre Theatre for the Christmas Carol. Best program ever at the Ward Christmas Party, Ashton was a wiseman in the video

Dec. 8th babysat the Dunn's all day, it was a great day!
Dec. 13th my final exam
Dec. 14th Got new tires on my car. Jake's work party...went to Buca at Universal City Walk
Dec. 15th Attended the Church Christmas Presentation...Sierra was in the children's choir...she LOVED every minute of it! It was beautiful!
Dec. 16th Sierra was in 2 more performances and 2 of her 3 teachers that she invited came!
Dec. 17th I got my hair done! and Ashton earned his orange belt in MMA

We went to Soup Plantation, met Rich and Sophi and then we met at Norris and Brenna's and got our cups full of hot chocolate and walked to the greatest street for looking at Christmas lights, walked up and down and enjoyed! Then we went home and watched Rise of the Guardians cuz someone let us borrow the DVD. :)

Dec. 18th babysat Lucy in the morning...made bread...babysat Melanie in the afternoon...dinner and Christmas at Janelle and Terry's
Dec. 19th made bread again
Dec. 20th took car to dealership to get an oil change, 2 hours later I was held hostage there, lucky for cell phones I called Carrie I. and she picked Sierra up from Activity Days for me until I was released. Sierra Activity days, she made goals and bought a gift and wrote a sweet note to a foster girl her age who didn't get anything for Christmas last year, dinner and Christmas at Dad's
Dec. 21st left for Mammoth

Played with and snuggled babies, watched movies, watched the snow, played in the snow, decorated the Christmas tree with homemade decorations including gingerbread cookies :) Got our car fixed, seal broke and oil was leaking everywhere.
Chrismas morning...ate sticky buns, made crepes and bacon and sausage

Opened my new mini-i-pad hehe! Not expecting that one! AT ALL!

Went tubing at the tubing park...that was pretty fun!

Dad's and Uncles built a real igloo. SO awesome!

Tate's first time in the snow.
Dec. 25th We were leaving to go home Christmas afternoon and as we were leaving the condo complex a young lady lost control of her mom's Land Rover and slid right into us pushing us into the snow bank. We have been told that she totaled our car. Maybe it will be able to be fixed, we shall see. The kids and I were shooken up, all 3 of us were crying...I tried to be brave. Jake just took care of business. There were so many blessings. My brother-in-law, mom and brother came to help. We had to unload everything out of our car into their cars. It was snowing the whole time. We were so blessed to still have been so close to the condo and we just went back and stayed another night and rented a car in the morning to come home. Noone was hurt. It wasn't our fault. Our car was so strong and kept us safe.

Dec. 28th bowling with Jake's family and it was so so fun!

Dec. 29th dinner at dad's with Brittan and Ben. So great to see and catch up with them.
I got an A in A&P Biology. Hurray! One more class to go and then time to apply!!!
We are so blessed and look forward to a blessed 2013, full of miracles!
