FHE Monday, Dec. 1, 2008

On Monday night Tay did our lesson for FHE. I don't ever want to forget it so I thought I would post it. :) She learned about Jesus and his Resurrection at church the day before, she even had a hand out from church that she used as a visual aid. It was the tomb they placed Jesus in and a paper rock taped over the hole and through the hole was a slip of paper that had pictures of Jesus and as she told the story she would move the paper to the next picture. She asked her dad before we began where to find the story in the scriptures. She had her scriptures open in her lap and as she told us the story she would also read from the scriptures, her dad read some too. :) She knew the whole story. She also bore her testimony at the end of her lesson and said she was thankful for Jesus and that he died for us and closed with "I say these things in the name of thy son Jesus Christ, amen". For our closing song she played Away in a Manger on the piano. I was so emotional (not totally crying but teary) through the whole lesson, her testimony and her playing the piano. I was and am so proud of her!!! What a perfect lesson for this time of year. He is the reason for the season.
