This last Saturday was Valentine's day and it really was a great day! I made German pancakes in the morning with fresh squeezed orange juice. YUMMY!!! Then my mom called and said Briana was still at her house if we wanted to come see the kids. We went up there and the kids played for about an hour. Then we came home and got ready for a family bike ride. Everyone has a bike except for me so we went to Jake's parents house and I borrowed Janelle's bike (Thanks Janelle!) and we rode from their house out to the South Fork Trail. Sierra rode her scooter and Ashton was on his Tonka bike. The kids did great!!! Not one complaint and we all had so much fun!!!! I was so proud of Ashton because he is still learning to ride his bike and he did so good and he was having so much fun. Out on the trail there is a sort of bridge to go across and a concrete slope down to the dirt and Jake kept going down the slope. Ashton said to me, "mom, can I do that?" "Oooh, not yet but for sure when you get a little bit bigger, maybe after we take your tiny wheels off." He said, "Okay, lets cut them off when we get home" :) For dinner I made Salmon, artichokes and garlic toast. Then after dinner I melted some chocolate chips and me and the kids dipped strawberries in the chocolate. It was so yummy eating the strawberry while the chocolate was still warm. :) The kids went to bed and Jake and I watched 'Nights in Rodanthe'. Just OK! I have to say, pretty depressing! It was a great day spending it with my little family, the people that I love most!!!!

sounds like a great day! I love strawberries dipped in chocolate.
We watched that movie Sat night too. Miles fell asleep and I was bored to tears. Even though the end was sad, it was the most interesting part! :)
We had artichokes too:) They were so beautiful that I took a picture of them. Maybe I'll post them on my blog.
Thank you for sharing your day with us! You are such a beautiful person - thank you for loving my son and grandchildren so much!
Love, Janelle
