Young Family Reunion

4th of July! We had a Family Reunion!

FHE

Ashton taught our FHE a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful lesson on the Armor of God. He used an orange, it would float with the peel on and sink in the water when the peel was off. Sierra helped him. Felt the spirit, loved every minute.

First Day

August 27th was the first day of school.
Sierra-7th grade
Ashton-3rd grade

Before and After

Ashton's summer time haircut!

Ashton is 9

My baby turned 9 on September 20. He wanted breakfast burritos for breakfast.
So, that is what I made. YUM!
We had Sierra's soccer game and then me and the kids and Sophi and her kids went to Baja Fresh for dinner. Ashton got his fav, taquitos and chips and salsa.

When we got home we had some icecream with chocolate sauce and sang to Ashton with daddy.

On September 21st we had a family party at the park and we played baseball and ate donuts.
Uncle Norris was teaching Ashton some football moves with his new football. :)

Happy Birthday my sweet boy!!!
Ashton's favorites...
Sport: basketball
Pokémon cards
Shows: SpongeBob Squarepants, Good Luck Charlie
Food: tacos/taquitos/spicy stuff
At school: PE, math, project time
Favorite vacation place: camping and Nixon's house

Whew!

This last Friday I took the TEAS test at COC. The next step in hopefully getting in the program. It was so hard and so draining, staring at a computer screen for 4 hours. Every section; reading, math, science and language was timed, freaking me out. I got an 80%. Whew! Hopefully good enough to get in the nursing program.
Sierra spoke in sacrament meeting on September 22nd. She spoke about family. She shared her testimony. She made me cry! She wrote her talk all by herself. She taught by the spirit! She did a great job!
On September 28th, we were in Orange County. Lincoln and Nixon were baptized and Susan was blessed. What a beautiful day!!
On September 29th I was at the hospital for a meeting and Jake attended a special stake meeting. Boundaries were changed and we now are in the newhall 1st ward.
