Well, I haven't posted for a few days...here's what we've been up to. We picked our first carrot, could have gotten bigger but I was impatient and had to see if there really was a carrot in there. Sleepovers and playdates with cousin Kate! Yesterday Grandma Janelle took Kate, me, Sierra and Ashton to Hurricane Harbor and we had tons and tons of fun. Even Grandma played right along with us, she would go on the slides too! There were a couple of the big slides that Ashton could go on because they lowered the height requirement but if he couldn't go than either myself or Janelle would take him to the Pirate ship or the other kid's area or the big white slide he liked to go on and and one of us would go on the slide with the girl's. The lazy river was a huge hit, we ended up in that lots of times throughout the day. We got there when they opened and we stayed until about 5:00pm, they closed at 6:00pm so we did pretty good. We were all so tired! Ashton was asleep at 7:45pm and Sierra by 8:30pm. She had a slight fever, I think she was so exhausted from the day and from being up late a few nights in a row. We have been playing hard! Thanks Janelle, it was a great day!!!!
The kids helped! Sierra grated cheese, broke up bacon and cut up sausage links. She also put the avocado on top. :) Ashton squeezed his daddy some fresh orange juice, he's great at that job!
Daddy said it was a "MONSTER" omelet and he could only eat half of it. He finished it for lunch! :)
Daddy got a Fire Pit!!! The kids were so excited to give this to him along with other things they had made for him. The night before they were laying treasures out on the table and I helped them record a message in a Father's Day card (SO CUTE!) and they kept saying I can't wait till tomorrow. Father's Day is like Christmas! :)
We went to church and I taught Ashton's class, Briana called as we were leaving church and said she was going to the cemetary with Dad and Tori to put flowers on Papa's grave. We met them there and had a nice time. So funny, Briana was looking for the vase to put flowers in and there wasn't one so she dug a hole in the ground on top of his grave and stuck the flowers in that. SMART! We went to my Dad's for dinner and had yummy Lemon Cream Chicken, Salad (that I made), potatoes, and rolls (that Sophi made). Finished it off with homemade apple pie.

Then Sierra went with Grandma, Grandpa and Kate for a sleepover.
Sierra's First Swim Meet for this season was at our pool, we raced against OO1 Dolphins.
Her first race was the Medley Relay, she swam the breast stroke.

Her Relay Team got 1st place! Great Job girls!!!
Her next race she swam individual Freestyle.
She got 4th or 5th place but this year she was a good sport and didn't cry. She said "I'm okay mom because the girl from my team won", what a team player! :)

In her last race she swam in a Freestyle Relay...
and she swam first...
and last!
They didn't win. She is so awesome! She swam her very best and she swam twice in her Relay Team, that is hard to do and very tiring!
Not many can say that they went to a High School Prom together. :)
In our dating years we snorkeled in Catalina.
You were in the Police Academy and we went to Mandalay with my family, still dating.
Finally, our magical day! June 18, 1999
Our romantic honeymoon at the Chimney Sweep Inn. We stayed in that building right behind us. LOVED IT, can't wait till you take me back! :)
Such a magical time, the birth of our first baby! Definately the beginning of an adventure.
An equally magical time, birth of our 2nd baby. A boy, another adventure.
So many adventures, so many memories, so much fun! Can't wait to see what happens next...
This morning Sierra got her spacers. She was nervous, ready to cry. She wanted me to come back with her and then when she was told that it was no big deal and she is going to laugh then she wanted me to go wait in the waiting room. She was out in like 5 minutes, it was so fast and she got a fan and a window ball. She is on her way!
Time to get in...
