There is no time for blogging anymore! Only time to take a breath! I am so glad I only enrolled in one class because this one class is very time consuming. I feel like I'm reading, studying and doing homework when I'm not watching something and cozying with hubby, taking care of my kids because they have needs too :), doing something for my calling in YW's, working for my mom or running. I LOVE all of my duty's honestly, I'm not complaining. I LOVE school, I LOVE my husband and children (BEST JOB), I LOVE my calling, I LOVE working with my mom and I LOVE to run. I also LOVE being busy! I just don't get to blog everyday, that's ok as long as I can squeeze it in here and there. So to catch you up...
I had my 2nd exam this last Tuesday and I studied as much as I could and then I prayed really hard that Heavenly Father would help me retain the knowledge because I just wanted to study all weekend but instead I went to the temple with Jake on Friday, hosted a Friendship dinner at our house on Saturday, had dinner with mom and Sophi and families at Grannie's on Sunday, had to help Ashton write a talk on Sat, write out assignments for the youth on a flyer to pass out on Sunday because I was also in charge of the Combined Activity on Tuesday night. All GREAT things but I needed help from above and he did send his angels because I got an A. :)

In other news about a week and a half ago Sierra limped out to my car as I was waiting for her in valet at school, one of her shoes was off. During PE she was jump-roping and landed on her left foot sideways. She bruised it pretty bad. I wrapped it with an ace bandage and sent her to school like that for the next 3 days. Her foot didn't seem to be getting any better so last Thurs. I took her to the drs and they x-rayed it and told me that it wasn't broken just badly sprained. He gave her a boot to wear to school which was much better than wrapping it every morning. She has been wearing the boot ever since and we are now starting to see improvement. :)
Yesterday I got to go with Ashton on his first field trip in 1st grade to the Underwood Family Farm. They first taught them all about fruits and vegetables.
Then we went on a tractor ride in the trailor...
and then we headed out to the fields.
We each got to pick a bag of vegetables. Farmer Jon taught us how to pick. We picked baby carrots, fennel, cilantro, golden radishes, and lettuce. Some of us also got stung by Stinging Nettles, a plant that stings you if you touch it and it hurts like a bee sting. One brushed up against my leg and left a welt. Stung for about 7 minutes.
Each of the kids got to pick a baby sugar pumpkin.
Mrs. B's class-October 12, 2011
When we got home Ashton was so excited about all of his vegetables. We washed them and ate some of the baby carrots. We made a big salad for dinner with the lettuce. Ashton kept saying this salad is the freshest we've ever had, fresh from the farm. It was such a HOT day at the farm but so much fun being a farmer.
Today is sister, Sophi's birthday! Happy Birthday Soph! LUV YOU TONS!
Had a stake YW's leadership meeting tonight. Jake had a softball game. Mom was nice enough to come and be with the kids, they got to watch a movie and eat icecream and candy. That doesn't normally happen at our house on a school night. What a nice Grammy! :)
That's a wrap! :)
