10

This morning I ran 10 miles with my mom...it was great! We ran out on the South Fork trail and because of all the rain there was a raging river flowing through the wash, waterfalls and everything. SO COOL! Never thought that just running through the middle of our valley would I get the privilege of running next to a river. I love water, loved every minute of it. We also had the privilege of going to Jake's parents house for a birthday party for Grandpa Elmo. He turned 90 years old yesterday. I don't have pictures but when someone emails some to me I will post them. He is a great man, he is my husbands hero. It was a pleasure to be with so many of Jake's family. His sister was in town, two of his uncles from Utah, his aunt and cousin from Orange County, his cousin from Texas. It was a great day!

Weekend with the Coppin's

And this is how much FUN we had!!!!
Terry, Janelle, Great Grandpa Elmo, Jenn and Kate were all there too! :) We had a great visit! We all loved learning more about Grandpa, looking at his book of letters and pictures and memories, and hearing his stories, he has great stories!
Crystal, Jake, Jenn, Janelle and Grandpa in front

The kids just played and played!
and played!
We made chocolates
I made a red racecar for Ashton

Sierra made chocolate lipsand enjoyed eating them! (Look at her beautiful makeup! Her 13 yr. old cousin does her hair and makeup for play and Sierra loves pretending she is a teenager when we are there. Kelly is so sweet with her, Sierra has so much FUN!!!)
Here is the bridge we went to on Sunday before church. It is the highest bridge in California and possibly in the US.

The boys running on the bridge.
We are enjoying the view from the bridge.

This was interesting...

We saw more motorcycles in this motorcycle rally that past us then we have seen in our whole life. They just kept coming. The boys loved it!Thanks to the Coppin family for having us in their home! We enjoyed our visit!

BEFOREAFTER
Went to visit Great Grandpa Elmo in the hospital, he is having trouble breathing.
Jake did a good deed for the day by helping an elderly lady take off her parking brake that her granddaughter had set in her car.
Grandpa said he is allergic to pain. :)
Sierra asked him what kind of cookies he likes and he said, "Oh, I eat whatever doesn't eat me first!"
Made chocolate chip cookies, ate lot's of cookie dough. :)
Grannie came to visit a minute and drop off Valentine's for us and the kids.
She gave me and Sierra new Valentine socks!and Ashton got a box of chocolate's that were all gone in 30 seconds.Relaxed and read.
Took cookies to Great Grandpa.
Brought home Chinese Food.
Watching Harry Potter.
