Holiday Performance

Tonight was the Holiday Performance for SCVi. Ashton's class sang "Oh, What A Wonderful World" and Sierra's class sang "Hakuna Matata", the whole school sang "What Dreams Are Made Of". The kids performed so cute and the show had a story to it and it was really great. A wishing star fell from the sky and then was finding out all about planet earth and discovering how different countries celebrate at this time of year. At the end the wishing star made it back to her place in the sky and was thanking all who taught her about earth. Super cute!
Ashton was a bit nervous...you can tell by his facial expressions. He sort of sang the song even though I knew that he knew every word because he sang it to me several times at home.
He didn't know where we were sitting and maybe that was making him a bit more nervous.

Sierra on the other hand sang every word, and even had the moves...she looked like she was having FUN!

The teachers performed at the end and they let the kids go down into the audience to watch their teachers. We got a quick wave from Sierra.

Janelle came...

and dad and Tori came too!

It was so fun to have both of our kids performing this year! A great evening!

Holiday Performance

This is Sierra's Self Portrait...
it was hanging on the wall at her Holiday Performance. The whole school performed the opening and closing songs. Each class spotlighted a different country around the world and talked about how that country celebrates Christmas. Sierra's class spotlighted Germany. They sang "Silent Night" in German. Sierra gave a speech and then they sang "Silent Night" in English. Then they did a dance. Sierra had to hold hands with a boy :0. It was a very beautiful program and Sierra was especially fantastic! :)
