2009 in Review!

Here's the beginning of 2009... and now we have already reached the end!

We had a very eventful 2009, so many memories, so much to remember, here are just a few highlights!

In January Sierra and I got to go see the taping of Wizards of Waverly Place...

In February our beautiful Sierra turned 8 years old and we went to Disneyland...

In March, a very special occasion! Our sweet girl was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by her daddy...
In April I took the kids with my mom and sisters and Aunt Ruthie and family to see the California Poppies...In May we went with our friend's, the Garcia's, to Joshua Tree...
In June we went camping to Carpinteria with my whole family...
In July we went to Utah...
In August we went to Mandalay Beach with just the 4 of us for mine and Jake's Birthday's... and Ashton started his first day of Preschool...
In September we celebrated our handsome Ashton's 5th birthday...We celebrated in New Port and at Aunt Briana and Uncle Brett's house! and Sierra got her braces on!
In October, I swam 1.2 miles in Castaic Lake on a Relay Team with my mom and David F. in the Magic Mountain Man Triathlon...
In November we had a stay-cation family reunion with Jake's family...
December is filled with wonder and amazement and so much JOY! One special occasion was Sierra's Holiday Performance at her school...

We have been very blessed in 2009! We hope that 2010 is filled with rich blessings for each of us! Happy New Year!

New Year's Eve...

For New Year's Eve our kids got to celebrate and stay the night with Grammy and Grampy! We went to a party at our friend's, the Everitt's, house and then I had to chaperone the Youth Dance and my husband was good enough to go with me. We had one incident with naughty dancing that we had to break up but overall it was a great evening, my husband was by my side to kiss me at midnight-that made it a great start to a new year! Then we went back to the party at the Everitt's and had a few laughs and then went home and to bed at about 1:00am. Slept wonderfully with no woken interupptions and for breakfast I made Cinnamon Belgian waffles and Jake and I ate them in bed, not a bad start to a new year!
