Uncle Randy threw a surprise party for her and we drove with my mom and we missed the surprise. This is what happened...We were driving up the street and behind us was Uncle Randy's car with Jessica driving and Aunt Ruth in the passenger seat, we pulled over and turned off the car because we knew that Aunt Ruthie would recognize my mom's car. We waited a few minutes until we were sure they had gone in the house and then we drove up the street some more and parked and went in. Uncle Randy and their friend Michele made a picture slide show DVD for her and we went in right as they were starting it. What a beautiful tribute to her and to 50 years of life!
Amanda and her family came down from up North and that was so fun! Aunt Ruth with Granddaughter, Melissa! She is so cute and so so sweet!

My mom, Auntie, and meI love my Aunt Ruthie! She will always hold a special place in my heart! Her and Uncle Randy have been married for 30 years. I was watching them tonight and they are still so in love, beautiful to watch! What a great example to me!

Thanks Vanessa, I love my Mom so much too! It was so fun to be there, and Mom said later that she had seen the car and figured out what was going on cause she already had suspicions. She was still surprised though!
Your Aunt Ruthie looks like such a joyful person Vanessa - something you must have inherited from her :) What a fun evening celebrating a great milestone!
