Ashton's PINK SHIRT!
On Friday I took the kids to Kohl's after we got Sierra from school and Sierra's birthday is coming so I wanted to get her a couple of things and of course I could not leave Ashton out. I told him I would get him one thing. We looked all over the boy's section and then he asked me "mom, can I get a new church shirt?" Sure so then we started looking at their church shirts and immediately he grabbed this pink shirt and said "I want this one, can I have this one!?!" I just responded "sure if that's what you want". Then the rest of the day on Friday he wanted to wear it and I kept telling him "no we are saving it for Sunday". All day Saturday he was asking to wear it so Sunday morning he asked "now is it church day", "yes", I said and he said "yeah, now I get to wear my pink shirt". He is a handsome, handsome boy!!!Saturday, February 21, 2009
Family Bike Ride

Over the other side of this hill is where Ashton goes speedy. Jake was helping Ashton get up the hill. Sierra was always up at the front. Ashton said to her at lunch "Si Si don't go so fast, I need to be in the front too."
We found this little playground after Ashton's downhill racing and as you can tell it didn't take him long to get over his scare.

We got to The Habit and while Daddy was ordering food we were playing with the camera. Sierra took this picture of me and Ashton.

Ashton took this picture of Sierra and it actually is very cute!

I was taking pictures of Jake while he was eating and I was laughing because I thought I was catching some funny faces... then I got a cute one because he flashed a smile while I was laughing.

When we finished our ride we played at the park.
Run for Fitness

Heading over to the flags (that Mrs. Sparks and Ms. C were holding) to start the race. She is still not to happy.

She was running so fast and so GREAT!

She finished the race and got her medal. SHE'S HAPPY! :)

Ashton wanted to do the apple and banana toss and when he threw this apple it went in the net. He did GREAT! He got others in the hole as well.
Sierra's teacher, Mrs. Diaz, was there passing out medals to the kids as they finished the race. Sierra loves her teacher and loved seeing her there.
Before the race.
After the race! She did great and ran so fast and ran the whole time!
Sierra was so sweet and let her brother wear her medal.
The kids got to go in the ambulance and get their blood pressure taken.

They got a chance to sit in the Deputy's car too.

Sunday is a special day!!!
In Sunday School, "Faith without works is dead". We need to have faith and do something about it, not just sit and wait for blessings.

Yesterday after our bike ride I went to take a shower, Jake was watching golf and the kids were playing. When I got out it was very quiet. I went out to the family room and found this,
