Fun Friday

Okay first off check out this cute Valentine Hair!!! I got the idea off of a hair blog and it turned out so cute!!! Sierra loved it and got lots of compliments on her hair at school. Today was a fun day! The kids both had Valentine parties at school. They took heart play-do again as their valentine's.
And then after school we gave Ms. Jennifer (Sierra's teacher) a Heart Attack. It turned out so cute! All the kids wrote messages on hearts and we taped them to her car. Someone went up to her classroom and told her that something was wrong with her car so she came running out!

She was pleasantly surprised and said this was the best Valentine card she has ever received!

Then after school we left to go to Coppin's house for the weekend! and the kids opened all their valentine's in the car and ate lots and lots of candy. A FUN DAY!

Sea World and the OC

Tuesday night at about 10:00pm my mom picked up me and my kids and Sophi and her kids and we headed down to OC to Briana's house. We spent the night and then got up and ready and went to Sea World. We had a great day!!! We got in as a field trip which blocked us from seeing most shows but we saw a sea lion and otter show that was educational. They taught us how they train the animals. It was more educational than other times I have been to Sea World, I thought it was great!

We are waiting for the show to start. Briana's friend came too with her 2 boys. Isn't Rocky so cute with his glasses, they are new.

The Shark Encounter was a favorite of the boy's, Sierra was not so sure!This was my favorite! The Bat Rays! My mom bought food for us to feed them, dead squid.
Sierra loved it too! She even attempted feeding them.

Ashton did not want to touch them but I made him because I knew he would think it was so cool!
He did it! :)

I got to help Nixon too! He was nervous too but he did it!DOLPHINS

Sierra was trying so hard to touch the dolphin. She finally did!We left and got Cafe Rio and took it back to Briana's place and then left from there to go home. Thanks Briana! Thanks Mom! We had a GREAT day!

Rainy Day

This morning I asked Ashton if he wanted to go to the park.
He said, YES YES, let's go right now!
Mom: "Park day starts at 10:30, hopefully it's not raining."
Ashton: "Well, lets go right now before it starts raining."
He is brilliant!
We babysat Blake and Jordan.
Went to the park for Park Day.
We were the only crazy one's there.
I think we really needed to get out of the house, more than anyone else.
Started raining right when we got out of the car.
Mom: "Ashton we have to go!"
Ashton: "but we just got here!"
Mom: "okay you guys play, I will be in the car with the baby.
They played in the rain for 5 minutes until they started getting in the sand and then I called it quits.
The sand was wet and going to stick all over them.
Mission Accomplished, we got out of the house!
Went home and ate lunch and watched Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 and Caillou.
Tonight I made homemade Chicken PotPie, it was YUMMY!

Sweet Saturday

Love a rainy day!
First things first, went to spin with my mom.
Then, started off our sugar Saturday with Apple Cinnamon Pancakes!
Cleaned bathrooms
Mopped

Jake took Ashton for a much needed haircut

BEFOREAFTER

Went to visit Great Grandpa Elmo in the hospital, he is having trouble breathing.

Jake did a good deed for the day by helping an elderly lady take off her parking brake that her granddaughter had set in her car.

Grandpa said he is allergic to pain. :)

Sierra asked him what kind of cookies he likes and he said, "Oh, I eat whatever doesn't eat me first!"

Made chocolate chip cookies, ate lot's of cookie dough. :)

Grannie came to visit a minute and drop off Valentine's for us and the kids.

She gave me and Sierra new Valentine socks!and Ashton got a box of chocolate's that were all gone in 30 seconds.Relaxed and read.

Took cookies to Great Grandpa.

Brought home Chinese Food.

Watching Harry Potter.

Sneaky

Sierra and I have a conflict. On Friday's she has P.E. at school and I make her where her tennis shoes to school because every other day she wears her boots. I want her to wear appropriate shoes for P.E. She does not like to wear her tennis shoes and fights me every time I want her to wear them. Well, she got them on yesterday and this morning I opened her backpack and in there I found her tennis shoes. I asked her why her tennis shoes were in her backpack.

"Uh, I took my boots to school in my backpack so after P.E. I could put my boots on and put my tennis shoes in my backpack..."(it was raining anyways so she didn't even have P.E.)

I didn't even notice that when I picked her up she had different shoes on. I feel like she is to young to be thinking of changing at school. What is going on!

Where does he come up with this stuff...

Tonight we were watching American Idol that we had recorded. Ryan Seacrest says, "coming up, we've saved the best for last." and Ashton is sitting at the kitchen table eating his lollipop and randomly says, "and the worst for first." Needless to say, Jake and I were laughing! :)
